The specific objective of the project is to engage the national media and policy makers in EU member states to better inform the citizens about the global interdependencies and challenges of the post-2015 development framework. The overall expected results of the action are that journalists integrate a global perspective in their thinking and work processes, general population in participating countries is aware of EYD 2015, awareness and understanding of policy makers on development issues is increased and the project partners share learning, methodologies and systems towards a common approach to engage media in awareness raising of development issues. The lead organization is Mondo, Estonia. The partner organizations are: ERR in Estonia, Green Liberty in Latvia, House of Europe in Lithuania, People in Peril (Člověk v tísni) in the Czech Republic, VIKES in Finland; BAAG in UK/Ireland.
