The seminar was addressed to Slovak journalists, who thus became acquainted with the unique possibilities to examine declassified archive collections and opened (Soviet) archives in the UA. Ukrainian historians and archivists have also talked about the methodology of working with archival documents and the possibilities of popularizing historical themes. The visit also included other meetings in the National Memory Institute and the SAS Historical Institute, where future prospective projects and cooperation on these issues were discussed. The seminar in Bratislava was associated with an international scientific conference in Stara Lesna on similar topics (3.-5.10.2018).
