The project aims to identify general regularity of karst development related with the complicated geoecological situation in the zone of the city of Chiatura, detect centers and specific causes of karst water pollution, identify feeding basins of single karst springs involved in the water supply, determine the catchment of the karst water involved in the Chiatura Water Supply system and develop effective recommendation of protection and prevention from turbidity-pollution of karst water involved in the water supply of Chiatura municipality.
