Sharing information on European legislation on consumer protection field related to the free movement of goods within the single European market, product safety and procedures relating to dangerous products and upcoming changes in European legislation, organizational structure of supervisors and market control, important directives such as the 2001 / 95/EC on general product safety, Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council 2009/48/EC on the safety of toys, mission of the European Consumer Centre of the Slovak Republic, the preparation of the Consumer Code - Code of Consumer Rights, scope and legal framework Slovak Trade Inspection (SOI) in the exercise of state control of the internal market in matters of consumer protection, product safety, control of non-food products , services and toys - generally to monitor the implementation of legislation on consumer protection, and cooperation with customs authorities, the Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed ( Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed - RASFF).
