Slovak Office of Standards, Metrology and Testing (SOSMT) played a very important role in Slovakia's accession to the EU as well as in negotiating and approximation processes. SOSMT representative, Ms. Kvetoslava Steinlová, is an expert who was also involved in professional lectures in the framework of several study visits - first visit of the Serbian delegation in April (Implementation of EU legislation for different types of products). Ms. Steinlová shared with Serbian experts several information and gave them presentations focused on all relevant laws and EU directives. She informed that SOSMT planned to send the draft to Serbian Ministry of Economy and Finance of the text of the Memorandum of Cooperation. Serbian side welcomed this step.
