Study visit was follow up activity of the consultation of the Parliamentary Archives of the National Council of the Slovak Republic representatives, Mrs. Jana Kubikova and Director of the Parliamentary Institute of the National Council of the SR, Mr. Lubomir Fajtak, organized by the National Democratic Institute program - Western Balkan Legislative Strengthening Initiative - in Skopje in 2013.

Ms. Emrije Zuberi as a new employee of the Parliament of the Republic of Macedonia (from  October 2013) has been responsible for building a professional body for the work of the Parliamentary Archives and Library of Macedonian Parliament - very broad field of work of the parliamentary documents, which requires not only knowledge of library and archival administration, but also knowledge of parliamentary procedures and work of similar institutions in the EU. They also plan to open Parliamentary Information Center for the general public. Slovak model has been used in several countries of the Western Balkans.
