The overall goal of the project is to contribute to the development of democracy and transparent election process in Tunisia. This goal should be achieved through enhancing professional capacity of the domestic observer partner organisation – ATED, which, following the implementation of activities within this project, should be able to increase the quality of its observation during the upcoming elections in Tunisia.

The project purpose is to ensure increased quality and strengthening of citizens’ oversight over the general conduct and quality of the overall electoral process. The project should lead to the following results: well-trained and prepared experts of the partner organization capable to assess compilation and quality of the voter lists and verify correctness of the vote count, and generally enhanced professional capacity of the partner organization.
