The project  "Understanding Diversity: Promoting Youth Engagement and Awareness of Development Cooperation among the General Public in Slovakia" aims to help the target group of the public and young people to perceive the current world as interconnected. It will equip them with the necessary competencies to help them participate in sustainable development and deepen their understanding of all its interconnected aspects. After the project implementation, the target groups will be able to find connections between their decision-making and local, regional and global levels. The project will be implemented in Slovakia. The cross-cutting theme of SDG 13 and SDG5 will be reflected in the campaign on environmental protection, climate change and role of women in development  and humanitarian field organized on the occasion of the World Development Information Day, and in the framework of the Digital Platform for Civic Engagement, which will provide concrete guidance for advocacy activities to address environmental challenges at the local level.
