The goal of the project is to strengthen the management, coordination and implementation capacities of Umbrella and its member organizations active in the field of ODA and GCE, to support the creation of strategic documents, to contribute to the quality of public policies, to increase international competitiveness, and to improve their mutual cooperation and cooperation with other relevant actors with the aim of making the official development aid of the Slovak Republic more effective. The project will be implemented primarily on the territory of the Slovak Republic with international overlap. The target groups are Ambrela member organizations (29), decision-makers, politicians and officials, MFA SR (headquarters and embassies) and SAIDC – other relevant departments, in particular the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of the Interior, the Ministry of the Environment and the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sports, the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic for Investments and Informatization, the Office of the Government Plenipotentiary for Civil Society Development, etc., politicians, members of the National Parliament of the Slovak Republic and the EP, representatives of political parties, European institutions, international organizations and the European confederation of non-governmental development and humanitarian organizations CONCORD, Eurodad, Voice, Professional and general public, which include: general lay public, non-governmental organizations, platforms and initiatives of other sectoral focus such as development cooperation and humanitarian aid, civil initiatives, academic institutions and students, media and relevant journalists. The specific goal of the project is to support the development of the development cooperation system of the Slovak Republic and the capacities of ODA Slovak actors. Fulfillment of this project goal will be reflected in three results. The first is the incorporation of professional inputs and recommendations of actors of development cooperation, humanitarian aid and global education into the activities, policies and strategic documents of ODA actors with the indicators Number of professional inputs – 6 and Participation in other professional working groups 12/6 through activities: 1.1.1.a participation of the Ambrela secretariat/representatives in working groups whose activities are directly and indirectly related to development cooperation, humanitarian aid and global education (min. 12) and 1.1.1.b preparation and processing of technical documents and recommendations, including participation in the preparation of strategic development cooperation documents (6), 1.1.2. Cooperation with members of the constitutional and legislative body of the Slovak Republic (4). The second result is increased competitiveness and expertise, education and awareness of 29 NGOs in the field of development cooperation, humanitarian aid and global education through activities: 1.2.1. Provision of relevant training in the field of development cooperation and humanitarian aid for organizations and their employees. (20 persons) 1.2.2. Organization of working groups for the purpose of building the professional capacities of organizations associated in umbrella organizations focused on development cooperation, humanitarian aid and global education in the Slovak Republic (4 experts from 6 groups) and 1.2.3. Participation of Slovak entities in development schemes of international institutions (3 meetings) 1.2.4. Support for ensuring the information flow for working groups of the umbrella organization from the European and global level (CONCORD, EC, UN, etc.). The third result is an increase in the professional and general public's awareness of the topics of development cooperation, humanitarian aid and global education.
