Description

The aim of the project is to introduce the

larval therapy - a treatment of the non-healing wounds with live, disinfected larvae - in human and veterinary medicine in Kenya. To achieve this goal a facility for the production of disinfected larvae will be constructed within the premises of the Kenyan partner - KARI-TRC. This facility will then supply the Kenyan clinical departments which would use this method in the treatment of the non-healing wounds.
