The project aims to provide perinatal and postnatal care for pregnant women in area of the village Gordim, in Northern Bahr al Gazaal state. The aim of the project is a reconstruction of the building, which was originally build as a maternity centre in St. Fatima health centre of Gordim, and to provide necessary equipment for running the maternity centre. After the reconstruction, new maternity centre will provide perinatal care for area of 83 000 people. Reconstructed health centre will also provide basic health education for local population mainly about prevention of infectious diseases and will provide trainings for midwives.
