The volunteer will cooperate with the partner organization House of Family in Cambodia on the project of university studies and start-up of a business for the proteges of this Slovak Children's Home for HIV Orphans. For these children from poor families and the streets, it was once only a dream to get to the University. We currently have 32 of them at universities. In addition, we have 37 so-called outdoor children on the project, that is, those who worked on the project and have already become independent. For this group of children, we want to help them grow, start a business, help with additional studies, etc. The role of the volunteer will be to provide them with the necessary assistance, help them get scholarships, sponsors, involve them in free educational structures, help them find housing or a part-time job in addition to work. Another task will be to select other potential university students from the project and help them prepare for entrance exams. His work requires a nine-month stay. • Months 1-3 on the project: project orientation, student search, tutoring assistance, scholarships for university students, accommodation, help with setting up a business. • Months 3-6 Searching for contacts for assistance to university students, help with writing projects, help with the provision of scholarships. • Months 6-9 Assistance with entrance exams, help with school applications, assistance with accommodation, help to find sources of income - temporary jobs, small jobs, equipment for school atc.
